DAY 1-2: MONTREAL Arrive in the #1 UNESCO City of Design and soak up the history of Old Montréal. Explore its cobbled streets, architecture and visit its esteemed art museums. Enjoy a biking adventure covering Montréal's major sights and neighborhoods by vélo- the best way to see the city with its dedicated bike paths and quiet side streets.
DAY 3-4: QUEBEC CITY Take the train to Québec City and discover its rich cultural history, visiting top museums and exploring the narrow European-style streets of Old Québec by foot. After a city tour, travel out of town to rural Québec passing through traditional villages and stopping off at The Montmorency Waterfalls and Canyon St. Anne.
DAY 5-6: NEW BRUNSWICK, NB/SAINT ANDREWS BY THE SEA, NH Visit St. John, the provincial capital of New Brunswick, to see its charming, winding streets and brightly coloured row houses know locally as Jelly Bean Row, perched on the hills overlooking the harbor. Enjoy a drive to Saint Andrews, stopping off at the beautiful New Brunswick Botanical Gardens, taking in a herbalism workshop and learning about local history and culture.
DAY 7-8: BAR HARBOR/ACADIA NATIONAL PARK, ME Head to Bar Harbor to meet your captain for a lobster sail, including seal watching and sightseeing through Frenchman Bay and The Porcupine Islands. Drive through historic downtown Bar Harbor to enter Acadia National Park and Mount Desert Island, traversing oceanfront, parkland and even a fjord. Take in stunning 360-degree views from the summit of Cadillac Mountain and peruse dozens of elegant summer cottages along the way.
DAY 9-10: WHITE MOUNTAINS, NH Embark on a vigorous hike through the White Mountain Range with an experienced hiking guide for an incredible adventure. Ascend the Northeast's highest peak on the historic Mount Washington Cog Railway, taking in the spectacular, panoramic view spanning the mountains and valleys of New England, north into Canada and east to the Atlantic Ocean.
DAY 11-13: BOSTON Enjoy a scenic drive to Boston exploring New Hampshire's amazing lakes, forests, trails and quaint towns along the way. Once you arrive in Boston, discover the historic North End area, led by a local historian. In the afternoon, travel to Cambridge and tour the world renowned Harvard University and MIT. Visit Boston's Museum of Fine Arts and take an educational tour of the storied Beacon Hill area, ending at the Boston Common.
DAY 14-15: CAPE COD/NANTUCKET Spend a relaxing day exploring the natural beauty and sandy shores of Cape Cod. Visit Provincetown harbor and enjoy a seasonal whale watching trip followed by a taste of the freshest local seafood and home-made ice cream. Take a ferry to Nantucket and get to know the island with a bike tour of the most beautiful beaches and the famous Sankaty Lighthouse. End your day's adventure dining out at at one of Nantucket's waterfront, alfresco restaurants.
DAY 16-17: NEWPORT, RI Drive to Newport and take a tour of opulent ocean-side mansions, the stately homes of Americas' wealthiest and most influential families while learning the stories behind these architectural gems. Visit historic sites such as coastal forts, iconic lighthouses and the rugged beauty of Ten Mile Ocean Drive.
